Guest Gabriel Caudillo
Welcome to the board, Gabriel. Would you like to post the solution before you forget it? :) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes ofcourse. i forgot to post my version of vmware is: Vmware workstation 4.0.5 ok. First of all you need to be sure this packages are installed in your linux system: -gcc/g++ -kernel source (in my case is: 2.6.3-7mdk [mandrake 10.0]) if you dont know how to install this, open "mandrakelinux control center 10" then "software managment" then "install" search for those packages in the list and install them. second. you have to update vmware (asumming that is already installed) get the updates in my case i downloaded vmware - any - any - update untar that file and execute "runme.pl" after that vmware is now updated. third. Run "vmware-config.pl" again i did this and have no problems. any questions? feel free to post any.
