frosterrj
Just got the Forge512 and cant use Rio software under MDK, so what is everyone using that will allow me to transfer stuff to the player with ID3 tags so I can create playlists, albums etc? I already have XMMS and grip for converting and playing on my laptop, just not sure if they are acceptable to transfer stuff over to the Forge. Thanks for any pointers... iphitus
Google is your friend my friend. http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/showprod...hp?product=1800 It works fine, probably when you plug it in an icon appears on your desktop, a usb storage device. you can just drag and drop your music in there. If the icon doesnt appear, you need to mount it manually. Unless you have other USB Storage devices attatched, or scsi/sata based hard drives, it will be at /dev/sda1. To mount it, mkdir /home/username/rio You may replace the above directory with whatever, and then: mount /dev/sda1 /home/username/rio again replacing directory with whatever you used. iphitus
