Urza9814 Posted January 26, 2005 Report Share Posted January 26, 2005 Is there any way to make Lilo boot from CD? It only gives me the hd options when I try to make a new entry with MCC. See, my windoze died...and my mom is about to kill me...it crashed halfway through the reinstall, and now whenever I try again I get a BSOD...and even teh M$ newsgroup can't help. Even reformatting the drive didn't do anything! So I was gonna install '98, but the CD don't boot right...but I think if I force it it might work...soo...how do I do that? ...if I only had a floppy drive, this would be soo much easier... :( speaking of which...would it be possible to fake a floppy drive (new partition somewhere) and set some way for lilo to boot that? hmm...
