CurrentlyI have Mandrake 10.1 I'm trying to install firefox because I'm a big firefox fan. I get stuck where it tells me to chose were it will install firefox. I don't know were it should be install. Totovich Posted January 18, 2005 Report Share Posted January 18, 2005 Mandrake uses urpmi to install software (see the faqs). :) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> just type in the Konsole: supassw (of root) urpmi firefox then you will probably see two names: mozilla-firefoxmozilla-firefox-devel then type: urpmi mozilla-firefox and then it's installed. You can start the program in your start menu (sorry for talking microsoft language ), you will find it in the internet, webbrowser menu. If not, logout, and login again. Also do this: go to your menu-system-configuration-there somewhere, you will find something to update your mandrake version. securityupdates etc. Also do this: use the search function in this forum before starting a new topic.
