Can't Make Boot Floppy During 10.1 Install

I burned the DVD image of the 10.1 official. I'm installing it on a 2nd HD set up as the slave drive. I would only use linux occasionally and would like to boot from a floppy. When I go through the install process all goes well except I'm not offered a choice on where to install the boot loader. It automatically installs the boot loader, grub in this case, on the MBR of the primary HD.

The install method I chose was 'expert graphical' figuring it would give me the choice of where to install the boot loader. Wrong. How do I bring up the choice screen?

Thanks.
