For example, I want to install FC3 on my Mandrake linux box on a seperate partition (and I already have /usr dedicated to its own partition) but I see no reason to have two different /usr directories...can this be done? :D :P Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not to mention fedora has some different names for pkgs so that means there will be diff directories in some cases.
