tyme Posted January 10, 2005 Report Share Posted January 10, 2005 (edited) an easy way does not yet exist. the programs and code for shadowing and true transparency just entered xorg at the end of the summer, and is just now reaching a nice, stable point. We may see an easy way to do this in the next version of GNOME (or more, metacity - since that's the window manager) but who knows. At this point, there's only the hard editing of xorg.conf cvs compiling xcompmgr play with command line options for xcompmgr way.
