These people have put in HUGE amounts of work to make the operating system you are probably using for free. What do they get as a "Thank You" - a start to 2003 with the possibility of closing down. beesea Posted January 9, 2003 Report Share Posted January 9, 2003 i'd like to use mandrakeonline, but i've never gotten it to work. i schedule the updates and everything correctly, but the automatic download never takes place. i've verified that the program runs, but for some reason it never downloads. Not worth paying for, just like MDKclub, but it helps to support them. mandrake online is free for one machine. any more and you have to pay. Just saying that the fact that it is only good for supporting Mandrake is THEE only reason to join. The dumbasses who ran this country until 8 years ago screwed that deal up and the new "regime" are arguably even worse at exploiting our resources. *sigh* At least our currency started pumping the dollar towards the end of '02.
