Laptop battery monitor

When I run the laptop battery monitor from the KDE Control Center, it displays the following message:

Your computer seems to have a partial ACPI installation. ACPI was probably enabled, but some of the sub-options were not - you need to enable at least 'AC Adaptor' and 'Control Method Battery' and then rebuild your kernel

I have searched for ACPI packages with the package manager in MCC, but all of them seems to be installed. Does someone know how to solve this?

Sincerely

Oystein Sund
