Hello,

I have a Dell Latitude C600 laptop running Mandrake 10.1.

When I log out from KDE (Logout menu item -> then I select End session only or Turn off computer or Restart computer) my laptop hangs. All what I see is a blank screen. Network doesn't work either.

If I open a terminal window and use reboot or poweroff commands the machine goes down without any problem.

Can somebody help me to fix this?

Thanks a lot.

Regards, Gyorgy

Hi,

Changing the X11 driver from r128_drv.o (ATI Rage 128 Mobility - this was automatically selected during install and has 3D acceleration support) to ati_drv.o (ATI Rage Mobility) with drakx11 solved the problem.
