Guest danafoo Posted December 21, 2004 Report Share Posted December 21, 2004 Hello People, I am very excited about coming back to the Linux community and would be the happiest woman in the world, if I could only figure out how to get wireless working on my Compaq Presario 900US, (920us). I have a great looking builtin Compaq w200 wireless adaptor that I have been unable to get working, and found out that the D-Link DWL-650 version P, I bought as a backup is not supported. I thought about the Netgear WG511, but I'm afraid I've run across two instances on the web, both for Mandrake 10.1, where one says it was supported and the other not. So I'm at a loss as far as wireless PCMCIA support goes. So I turn to you all. Which PCMCIA wireless network device are you using? And how did you get it to work?
