Guest malegria
So I've correctly ran Konstruct to upgrade from KDE 3.2.3. to KDE 3.3.2. And I've done the "export KDE=DIR...etc" stuff it told me too, and yet it still does not run 3.3.2. All the KDE files are just sitting there in my /root/kde3.3.2 folder. I can run them from there, but is there anyways to actually INSTALL them? THanks
devries
Mandrake uses urpmi to install software. KDE 3.3.2 is at Thacs (http://anorien.csc.warwick.ac.uk/mirrors/thac/index10.1.html urpmi.addmedia thacs.rpms http://anorien.csc.warwick.ac.uk/mirrors/thac/10.1/RPMS with hdlist.cz). Use that to install KDE. Good luck

devries
To begin with urpmi kdebase. After that whatever you want :). Look in the Mandrake control center, software install what you want to install.

I could see the rpms in the main directory but not the kde3.3 dir Any ideas?
devries
Is thacs.rpms added as one of your repositories? What do you get when you type: urpmi kdebase ?.
Guest eldacar
The hdlist.cz in the base directory does not contain the rpms in the subdirectories where kde 3.3 is.....
