The problem is that I do not have connection ADSL, and i have to download from my job , to after to install them. So ,how i can update my Mandrake from a cd as Mandrake Update? a13x Posted December 15, 2004 Report Share Posted December 15, 2004 Well, in that case you need a DVD-W, a DVD burner at your workplace and a DVD-ROM home. Just put the DVD in the ROM after you've burned it and boot it. If I remember well, if you select install DrakX will ask you if you want to upgrade or install. Select upgrade. You can also add the DVD as an rpm repository and update using urpmi. Go to MCC -> Software Management -> Media Manager and add the DVD as a repo.
