Guest rifle Posted December 9, 2004 Report Share Posted December 9, 2004 Just coming back to linux after a bellyfull of winxp last constant use was peanut8. amd2000 plus 512 ram abit kr7a-raid 80 seagate my win modem i know is not supported (es56h-pi), otherwise i have md10 running very well. can someone tell me where to look for modem modules these days, i can't even find a modem reference in the kernel ./configure. rifle Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest rifle Posted December 9, 2004 Report Share Posted December 9, 2004 Thanks Yves I guess i will have to buy another modem in the end (have "tried on" 6 so far) but after manual install and configureing kppp etc i can't get passed the (initializing modem) with them, looks like no module responce. What i would like to do is find out what modules are in the kernel first.
