Guest Tangram Posted December 4, 2004 Report Share Posted December 4, 2004 I've got an Acer TM 240 laptop and have just installed the download version of 10.1. No installation problems but there seems to be a keymap problem in that pressing some of the letter keys displays numbers. adamw Posted December 4, 2004 Report Share Posted December 4, 2004 you probably have numlock turned on :). on laptop keyboards, turning numlock on usually turns the right-hand end of the keyboard into a numeric keypad. this caught me out once. If you can't turn it off, *that's* a bug :). Mandrake includes a numlock service which messes with the numlock setting on boot; if you can't get numlock to turn off, maybe you need to disable that service.
