Dr.Backtick` Posted January 12, 2005 Author Report Share Posted January 12, 2005 I've decieded i'm going to switch over to Gentoo Linux. Some of the things I need to find out are: 1. using ext2 filesystem and want journaling now (tune2fs -j /dev/hdb1) Would that command just add Journaling and erase data or just add Journaling. According to the man pages it doesnt mention data loss. Thats about all the questions I have right now.
