Guest Nepe
Hi all tring to do a network install through http, in a CompactPCI platform with intel 82559 network card. The http server is properly configured in another MDK 10 machine. booted with network disk, when it asks for network-drivers disk I introduced it but it says that the correct driver for my card is not there... tried again with alternative disks (kernel 2.4.25) and it works, it finds the driver (eepro100) but in the graphic install there is an error : "unable to find /lib/modules.cz-2.4.25mdkBOOT" problem is , the file is there (in /var/www/html/Mandrake/mdkinst/lib), I can even see it with my browser If I try with the 2.6 network (boot) disk and 2.4 drivers disk it keeps asking for the modules.cz-2.4.25mdkBOOT (!? so it takes the kernel version from the drivers instead that the boot disk???) in the target machine, using the console view sfter the installation error I can make an ls in the /lib directory and the file is not there...so where is it taking the /lib dir from?? Any idea? thanks in advance
darwin
humm, i'm not sure to understand your problem but you must have the boot.iso CD corresponding to the kernel you would like to intall. maybe it'll help.
