Hi, I bougth Acer TravelMate 4001WLMi and install MDK 10.1 CE (Now I updated on the Official). Now I have a few (more than less) troubles.

1, ACPI doesn't work. When I change apci=off or acpi=ht on something else, when it booting it freeze with messages "IRQ9 SCI: Edge set to Level Trigger" (acpi=on) or "calibrating delay loop" (nolapic noacpi).

2. Wireless (Wifi) doesn't work too. I download firmware from ipw2200.sf.net and configure it. But when I try:

> sudo ifup eth1

Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :

SET failed on device eth1 ; Operation not supported.

Determining IP information for eth1... failed.

> cat /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1

DEVICE=eth1

BOOTPROTO=dhcp

ONBOOT=yes

HWADDR=00:00:00:00:00:00

METRIC=10

MII_NOT_SUPPORTED=no

WIRELESS_MODE=Auto

WIRELESS_ESSID=VELKY_BRATR

DHCP_HOSTNAME=costrantb2

NEEDHOSTNAME=no

> lsmod |grep ip

ipv6 230916 16

ipw2200 51252 0

firmware_class 7232 1 ipw2200

ieee80211 13444 1 ipw2200

3. Special keys doesn't work with acerhk module. I installed it by INSTALL manual and modprobe (I can see it in lsmod), but xev doesn't show keycodes instead off keys for mail and internet (these two keys are functional without acerhk too).

4. USB2 goes sloooowly like USB1, but on my desktop with the same MDK version, it goes great. When I connect my usb hdd, I get next in messages:

Oct 24 10:46:56 COSTRANTB kernel: usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using address 4

5. Network freeze on 4 minutes on booting, than booting continues. When I set ONBOOT=yes in eth0 and eth1 it freeze two times on 4 minutes, when I set ONBOOT=off on eth1 it freeze one times 4 minutes, and when I set eth0 ONBOOT=off too it freeze 4 minutes on localhost...

I will happy for some responses... I still hope I will not throw the notebook from window. :-(

Thanks.
