Apache problems...

I've just installed Mandrake 10 on our new dell server. Everything went ok but some irritating problems appear with Apache.

The strange "/":

When I try to access sub-folders like:

http://www.myserver.com/pe2

I'm told that the site doesn't exist, but if I access it with an extra "/" like:

http://www.myserver.com/pe2/

Everything is ok! Why?

Alias in commonhttpd.conf won't work

When I create an alias like:

Alias /phpmyadmin "/home/httpd/webservices/phpmyadmin/"

in my commonhttpd.conf and try to access it with http://www.myserver.com/phpmyadmin/ I get an "forbidden"-error. The dir has the correct permissions, but is there a setting in the apache conf-file that I've missed?

/Henrik
