Guest pcerrato Posted October 28, 2004 Report Share Posted October 28, 2004 Hi to every one!! Until now I was using my mobile like modem to conect to internet (in Mandrake 10.0). Mandrake didn't recognize it then I setting up manually written the following command: "modprobe usbserial vendor=XXXX product=XXXX". After, I configured the kppp sw and connect to internet with out problem. (I have a guide to explain all steps). But now, I installed Mandrake 10.1 and the problem is that Mandrake recognize the mobile like a pilot and I can't use it like a modem. I tried to use the command above, but report an error. how can I use now the mobile's modem?? My principal problem is I'm newbie.
