Guest it_hurts
I have found out something.. I have been play with this card for a long time.. The Belkin F5d6020 sould have a Atmel chipset so i have been trying to install the atmelwlandriver.. when I tpyed lspci it said i had the ver.2 Thats the reason why i was trying to install the atmel driver ... I coundnt get mandrake 10.1 to see my card so I download redhat 9 and did cardctl ident and to my surprise I found [root@localhost rtl8180_1.5]# /sbin/cardctl ident Socket 0: product info: "Realtek", "Rtl8180" manfid: 0x0000, 0x024c so I when here http://sourceforge.net/projects/rtl8180-sa2400 and donwload the driver and get this [root@localhost root]# insmod -f rtl8180_24x Using /lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/rtl8180_24x.o Warning: loading /lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/rtl8180_24x.o will taint the kernel: forced load See http://www.tux.org/lkml/#export-tainted for information about tainted modules /lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/rtl8180_24x.o: init_module: No such device Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters. You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg [root@localhost root]# [formatted by spinynorman] Moved from Hardware by Darkelve Edited October 25, 2004 by Darkelve
