Tip for reading Man Pages

I don't know about others, but for me, reading the man pages in console mode is difficult. The longer the man page, the worse it is to figure out. I stumbled across a tip in old board docs by Tom Berger and it really helped. This tip is for the GUI oriented newbie crowd. If you are a real console user, it won't help you. :D

 Try using KDE Help reader ( the cute little red and white lifering icon on the launch panel)

or via K--Documentation--Help.

When it opens type the man page into the LOCATION spot. for example:

man:man

man:urpmi

man:rpm

It is easier to read, scroll, print and uses color to attract your attention to important items.

Try it, I think you will like it! The man pages might even start to make sense!
