cwchia Posted October 13, 2004 Report Share Posted October 13, 2004 After upgrading my system to 10.0 using urpmi now some of my kde programs just refuse to start. Eg kpdf and any of the component of kdegames. If I try to launch kpdf the error message will show:- There was an error loading the module KPDFPart.The diagnostics is: /usr/lib/kde3/libkpdfpart.so: undefined symbol: _ZN13KToggleAction15setCheckedStateERK8KGuiItem and if I run any of the kde games, the busy cursor will show up and will last until it is timed out. devries Posted October 13, 2004 Report Share Posted October 13, 2004 Its probably a dependencies problem. Some KDE programs are missing certain things. Solution: (since I dont know what parts) go to the MCC, sotware, install software--> install everything with KDE in its name. Good luck.
