Amarok 1.1

I am having problems installing amarok 1.1. I tried installing from source

and keep getting gstreamer 0.8.4 errors. I also installed a RPM, but that

isn't working either. So, is there an RPM of the latest gstreamer somewhere?

I can't find it through google, and it seems to be holding me up. Or has

anyone else got amarok 1.1 to install without it? Thanks for any help.

OK, I found an rpm and got it installed, version 1.1. Now I am having problems with it crashing whenever I try and choose a file to play. It happens everytime. Here is the sequence, in konsole, launch amarok, choose mp3 to play, crash. Here is what shows up in konsole:

[jason@localhost jason]$ amarok

Any ideas on whats going on and how to fix this? This has been a huge pain in the ass trying to get this program to work. I had v1 running for awhile, but 1.1 has been nothing but trouble. I am running mandrake 10, with kde 3.2. Thanks for any advice.
