Guest Jide
Hi guys, I just use this thread since I have the same message when I try to configure gcc. Here's the situation: I have just installed mandrake 10.1 from the CD 1, and ignored the CD 2 and 3 I wanted to install amsn, which I learned required the installation of tcl/tk. I downloaded tcl/tk, then found I needed a C compiler to use it. So I downloaded gcc (3.3.2), but right now I don't exactly know what I'm supposed to do with the files... The message tells me tu use a C compiler to install gcc, but that was the whole point of installing gcc in the first place!!! :o PS: In case you haven't noticed, I'm a total newbie...
