Guest rhatlinux
I can't find the pcmcia service when Mandrake 10.1 is booting. Is pcmcia even included in Mandrake and if so, how do I install it? I tried "pcmcia service" in the terminal and I get a "cannot find pcmcia service." aioshin
.... I think, pcmcia packages were not installed yet in your machine, try to use the software package manager then look for pcmcia...
liquidzoo
Edit the file /etc/modprobe.preload as root using your favorite text editor ex: su to root in a terminal kwrite /etc/modprobe.preload Add the entry yenta_socket to that file (doesn't really matter where if there are already entries there), save, and reboot pcmcia should start now.
