Guest cryptohead7
Hi, This seems to be a recurrent problem, I install a RPM and then only to find out that the program is not in the K Menu or any sub. I loaded GNOME and some of them were there, but even KDE progs didnt make it to the K Menu. Any thoughts? Jean S. Paquet
mystified
I have this happen with programs that are not part of the Mandrake package. For instance when I installed Opera from an RPM it was not added to the menu and I had to add it manually. Don't know if that's the same situation you're having or not. Cannonfodder
I'm not a KDE user, but I believe you have to add it manually..
Guest Mandrake_Mouse
You can use Menudrake to add whatever you want to the K menu. Just be aware that there IS a bug in Menudrake, and you'll need to uncheck the box that has the program run in the background (it's checked by default, for some reason). Don't know if this bug's been fixed in the Cooker yet, or not.
