flarefox Posted September 8, 2004 Report Share Posted September 8, 2004 Hey, I just bought a pny nvidia geforce 5700 Media Center card that is supposed to let me watch tv, listen to the radio, and watch movies and the like. It even comes with a remote. The remote I can live without, but I got it for the fact that it's equal is the geforce quadro fx 1000 and it has tv tuner capabilities. Is there a way to make the tv tuner work in mandrake? Every time I try to install the tv tuner card functionality in the mandrake control center, it just says "scanning for channels" and hangs there for hours on end. It does absolutely nothing that I can tell. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to what I could do to fix this? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
