Guest jamiroq Posted December 20, 2002 Report Share Posted December 20, 2002 i have bought a bewan PCI adsl modem, driver is supply but not integrated with the last MDK 9.0 so after compilation it work perfectly but the pb is that i can't take Adavantage of every wizard related to ppp0 internet connection !!!! neither during the installation or after !!! the pb will the same with the MNF !! no internet interface detected so how to correct this or cure this trouble ?? can someone help me ?? thakn in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The first place to look is the interrupt assignments which are most often serial ports for modems as you probably know. The next place is the arrangement of the NICs addresses. Your modem driver may not be compatible with the wizard method of configuration. Perhaps the command line is another route. I suggest you check out the DSL How-To and http://www.tldp.org.
