Guest wilburpan
I have been playing around with MDK 9.0 for a couple of weeks now. I'm running KDE. One thing I would like to do is to get away from the K**** applications as defaults. I figured out how to get OpenOffice to run as default for most document type files, but I cannot figure out how to get away from Konqueror for opening webpages. I would like to have Phoenix open whenever a web address is clicked, say, from inside an email or from the Bookmarks folder in the start menu. I would also like to have Evolution open whenever a mailto: link is clicked from a webpage. Any tips wuld be appreciated.
pmpatrick
You can do it in the kde Control Center>File Browsing>File Associations>Text>html. Click on html and in the right pane you can add your favorite browser by using the Add button if it's not already listed and then move it to the top of the list with the Move Up button.
