teh_sAbEr Posted August 28, 2004 Report Share Posted August 28, 2004 hi. im having a little problem with getting fluxbox to start apps when it starts. ive already made a startup file(named startup), posted here: #/bin/sh! #WHY ISNT THIS WORKING!? #fluxbox wallpaper start Esetroot -f /home/e_tuvera_jr/Backgrounds/1280/YUA1_1280.jpg #start apps. minidock & gaim & mozilla & plus one thats called apps: #maybe i can set the background in here. fbsetbg /home/e_tuvera_jr/Backgrounds/1280/YUA1_1280.jpg #apps file. hopefully this will work. minidock & gaim & mozilla & it still wont start up. i login through KDM, although i have tried to login from init 3 and it gave me an error that it couldn't start X because it couldn't open default font 'fixed'. any advice on this?
