I did yur little update thing and it went through with no erros but when i put in urpmi --media plf mythtv it said package not found y is that and i did add plf to my list of urpmi sources. devries Posted August 30, 2004 Report Share Posted August 30, 2004 It looks like the mandrakeusers mirror for PLF had some problems. Try a different mirror. Guest vindicated Posted September 8, 2004 Report Share Posted September 8, 2004 (edited) Ok i have been switchin all around with distros went to fedora and got mythtv setup and everything but my vid cap card is not excepted by mythtv oh damnit then went 2 suse and wont even rec my vid card. ANyways i decided to go back to mandrake and use freevo which is fine but when i go to urpmi it, it finds all files i need asks for disc 1,2,3 and then it asks for 4 i know u cant download it and it wont let me bypass it why would it be doing this. OH yea when i went to up urpmis i kept gettin errors so i ended up having to go some austria server blah blah blah why would i be having some much problems with urpmis oh and i live in florida. Ok exclude all the urpmi probs i went with foreign servers and they work so hey still need help with disc 4 thing who has disc 4 cept ppl that paid for it. Guest vindicated Posted September 8, 2004 Report Share Posted September 8, 2004 Ok i got freevo installed but it is all messed up i mean all not all the software installed but it runs but cant watch tv schedule anything worst thing is when u go to close the shutdown wont wokr brings up box saying ok or cancel cancel is auto selected and you cant select OK. Here is what i get when i installed it. I cant get the errors it gives in terminal cause i have to do hard restart to get out of freevo.
