galaxy3001 Posted August 11, 2004 Report Share Posted August 11, 2004 (edited) I used to have export PS1='$PWD>' to change my xterm prompt to display the current path. But after moved to Mdk10.0, even though the prompt still displays the current path. but the cursor is at the beginning of the prompt string. Anyone else encountered that? is there a fix? I just figured out that it is because I copied my .bashrc from windows (cygwin). dos2unix type of error.
