I have a Canon A60 camera. I am trying to get gtkam (gphoto2) to start when I plug in

the camera (usb). Here is the output:

Aug 1 14:21:28 localhost /etc/hotplug/usb.agent: Module setup usbcam for USB product 4a9/3074/1

Aug 1 14:21:28 localhost su(pam_unix)[2385]: session opened for user xxxxxx by (uid=0)

Aug 1 14:21:28 localhost gconfd (xxxxx-2376): starting (version 1.2.1), pid 2376 user 'xxxxxx'

Aug 1 14:21:28 localhost gconfd (xxxxxx-2376): Resolved address "xml:readonly:/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory" to a read-only config source at position 0

Aug 1 14:21:28 localhost gconfd (xxxxxxx-2376): Resolved address "xml:readwrite:/home/tony/.gconf" to a writable config source at position 1

Aug 1 14:21:28 localhost gconfd (xxxx-2376): Resolved address "xml:readonly:/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults" to a read-only config source at position 2

Aug 1 14:21:28 localhost gconfd (xxxxxx-2376): Failed to write byte to pipe fd 5 so client program may hang: Broken pipe

Aug 1 14:21:28 localhost su(pam_unix)[2385]: session closed for user xxxxxxxx

I don't understand this error. GConf is not started at the beginning.

gphoto2 (newest)
