Since it doesn't work, you would like to repair it by using the installation CDROMs. Is it possible to repair or install over the same partition without formatting everything? liquidzoo Posted July 22, 2004 Report Share Posted July 22, 2004 When you start up, do you get to a command line login? If so, this can be an easy fix. Login and su to root (or login as root fot now) and type XFdrake (case sensitive) and set up your X server again (video card and monitor for sure).
