Lord Kenneth
I downloaded and installed that kernel because my external hdd and wireless didn't work in 2.6.7 At first, my wireless usb card (uses at76c503-i3861 I think) worked. A few reboots later it no longer did and won't. It doesn't come up in iwconfig, ifconfig, or anywhere else EXCEPT in harddrake. (???) I try to add it the connection in drakconnect, won't work. HOWEVER, it works wonderfully in 2.6.6. What do I do?
hilbert
Did you install atmel-firmware (commercial package)? It has /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/atmel_at76c503-i3861.bin /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/atmel_at76c503-rfmd-0.90.2-140.bin /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/atmel_at76c503-i3863.bin /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/atmel_at76c503-rfmd-acc.bin /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/atmel_at76c503-rfmd.bin You may need them. you may load the module explicitly. Is it atmel driver? I downloaded and installed that kernel because my external hdd and wireless didn't work in 2.6.7 At first, my wireless usb card (uses at76c503-i3861 I think) worked.
