lars_eivind
I am running Mandrake 10.0 Official (Download edition) on my Centrino laptop, and would like to use cpufreqd for saving battery time. I have installed cpufreqd, and this starts at boot. I have also installed the kernel sources (I am using 2.6.3-14 from Mandrake). But when I try to do modprobe speedstep-centrino i get an error message : FATAL: Error inserting speedstep-centrino (/lib/modules/2.6.3-14mdk/kernel/arch/i386/kernel/cpu/cpufreq/speedstep-centrino.ko.gz): No such device Is it just something I haven't installed? Or is it someting I can't install because I have the download version...?
