hi,

have mandrake 10 installed on dell inspiron 1150 notebook. have a belkin f5d6020 version 1 wireless card (intersil chipset if i am right). anyways also have installed hostap a module from mandrake cd for intersil support but still cant seem to configure the card. i tried manually configuring with a lot of drivers, also specified different options for the cards but still i cant seem to have this card configured. have a dual boot so know there is no hardware problem. tried searching on the net for issues and found that lots of guys tell you to download atmel or intersil supporting drivers to make the wireless card work. last time i tried to install these drivers my x server crashed. the point here is that if mandrake provides intersil support why do i need to install these other driver. so could anyone explain me how to configure my wireless cards using drakfconfig. thanks in advance.
