Guest mukhbens
Hi Everybody, I have recently successfully installed ML 9.0. I want to recompile the kernel 2.4.19 downloaded from kernel.org. I have given it a try and all seems to be fine except the ALSA and supermount. Currently I am concentrating on ALSA. I went through the Mandrake kernel config file. It includes ALSA in the config file options. I searched whole of google and all the possible alsa and kernel how-tos but did not find any mention of integrating alsa in the kernel config file. All the how-tos say I should compile alsa modules separately and then move them to the modules directory. Can anybody tell me how to do it the mandrake way?? Thanks in advance. Guest anon
The latest stable kernel from kernel.org is 2.4.20 you might want to try that. OR the cooker kernel from mandrake ftp://mandrake.redbox.cz/Mandrake-devel/c...1-1mdk.i586.rpm
