Guest Cowboy Feng
Hello! From what I understand, the program badram is included my default in Mandrake. This is a program that enables the computer to mask out bad sections of RAM, making previously broken unrealiable RAM chips usable. Now, I can't seem to find any information about this, so I wonder: Is it correct that Mandrake has this feature? How do I find info on how to configure it? Best regards, Cowboy Feng [moved from Installing Mandrake by spinynorman - welcome to the board :)]

Guest raksis
I believe the bad ram 'program' you are asking about is in the kernel. I beleive most include it in their compiled kernels. ie. its an option in the kernel menuconfig
