garf Posted June 11, 2004 Report Share Posted June 11, 2004 hey,i just upgraded to mandrake 10 oe (download version), so far i found it was a good OS untill on major problem popped up when using any type of web browser to look at web pages its painfully slow, in a kinda of test i managed to get pages loading way faster on anold PII 350!! its not my net connection as gFTP is as fast as it ever was (if not faster). anybody heard of this or got any ideas? swing it my way if you have garf Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Let us know... can you explain what that statement does? i.e. what does modprobe.conf do, what does net-pf-10 mean, etc...?
