Guest Violator Posted June 7, 2004 Report Share Posted June 7, 2004 (edited) I recently installed for the second time the Verdana font from my Win box. However I noticed that it is not displayed correctly in all KDE apps (the font is jagged and doesn't look good at all without antialiasing). But in XMMS, for instance, it is displayed almost perfectly the same as in Windows. It also looks nice in some other apps like GIMP 1.2 but not in any KDE app. This means that my X server is able to display the font correctly but KDE for some reason doesn't. I noticed that this is the case with all other fonts in MDK10 CE not just with Verdana. :huh: Does anyone have any idea what may be wrong? I would like to use my fonts without antialising in KDE for sizes between 8-12pt but currently the way KDE displays them is not acceptable.. I have attached a screenshot showing what I mean.
