Dru Posted June 6, 2004 Report Share Posted June 6, 2004 I am having a problem with Chromium. I am using Mandrake v10. I log on to my usr account and select Chromium from the games menu, it starts but with no sound. If I open a shell and type Chromium, it starts with sound. If I log on as root, Chromium starts with sound from both the games menu and shell. How can I fix this annoying problem. It's obvious my sound card works and is configured properly, because it works for everything else except running Chromium from the games menu under my usr account. BTW, this is only the case under GNOME, it work on KDE from my usr account. I have tried deleting Chromium from the menu and re-adding it, but that had no effect.
