Ghil Vertefeuille
So I have two new HD. (wouhou) Then I install XP, all runs fine, then I install Mandrake on the second HD and then...when I reboot, instead of Lilo, it puts some 1 and 0 and gives me nothing. Now I'm running on Knoppix 3.3, and hope to have an answer soon :P thanks in advance ;)
Pzatch
Using the first Mandrake install disk in resque mode you should be able to deinstall and reinstall the boot loader. Give that a try first.

Guest rogerhelmich
I guess you are running 10.0 with the 2.6 kernel. If you are their is a problem that gets the windows xp partion table all wrong. The fix is to report to linux the correct parameters of the HD. Assuming that xp resides on /dev/hda then you need to boot to rescue and run fdisk -l /dev/hda reboot and reinstall Linux. at the expert screen enter the parameters for your HD mine was: linux hda=16065,255,63 then just install and have fun. The other fix is to use the utility sfdisk and report the HD parameters: sfdisk -d | sfdisk --no-reread -H255 -C16065 /dev/hda or if that doesnt work sfdisk -d | sfdisk --noreread --force -H255 -C16065 /dev/hda reboot and every thing should be running do not fixmbr of fixboot in windows recovery it is not needed
