santner
Hello again, I have my /home directory on a seperate partition, and some screwy things have been happening since I installed mandrake10 when it automounts during the boot process, however I think that I have them all fixed except that when I log in I receive the error: KDEInit could not launch /usr/bin/autorun I checked the directory and the file does not exist. I was thinking of creating a dummy user and seeing if that user would have this file, then copying it over. Will that work? Is there a better way? Steve Scrimpshire
In MDK 10.0, I can find no pkgs that contain /usr/bin/autorun, so maybe that was done away with. What is probably wrong is that in your ~/.kde/Autostart there is probably a file in there that is calling /usr/bin/autorun because it existed on your old install, but is handled differently now. If so, try deleting that file in ~/.kde/Autostart and see if you still have the problem.
