Guest YannisC
I am having problems enabling the ACPI on my Mandrake 10 installation on a Presario 2100. I tried to do put the DSDT table on the initrd file (so that it will override compaq's broken table) -- I did this on when I installed Mandrake 9 on the same machine and everything worked perfuctly! But on Mandrake 10 it seems that it is not working! In order to set the DSDT table found on Berke Durak's page, I followed the instructions found on Markus Gaugush's site. Yet I can't seem to make it work!
bvc
Which mandrake? CE or OE? Which kernel version?
Guest YannisC
It's Mandrake 10 CE I tried it with the following kernel versions: 2.4.25-2 2.6.3-4 2.6.3-9 Also there are 2 DSDT that seem to match -- the one is for Presario 2100 and the other in for Presario 2144ea (which I used with Mandrake 9.2 and work perfectly). So there are something like 6 combinations ... none worked In fact immediatly after the message LILO: blah initrd=dsdt.aml Loading *......... BIOS check successfull The screen goes blank and nothing happens.
