polemicz Posted December 2, 2002 Report Share Posted December 2, 2002 After installing on my new hd (fresh 9.0 ) I have a wierd OO problem, no words with the taskbar menus. Where it should say File is a blank line, I can get the drop down menu by clicking there, but then too the items on the drop down have no labels. I still have OO on my other hd from the same disks and that works fine. Luckily for now I can mount my files on either system and so have a working OO, but I'm quite perplexed. Anyone have any ideas? Pzatch Posted December 2, 2002 Report Share Posted December 2, 2002 A lot of people seem to have quite a few problems with OO that comes with Mandrake 9. I got around them by downloading and installing OO 1.0.1. I don't seem to have any real problems with it yet. Sorry I can't really help. I sounds like a bad install. Since OO is acually in two places they should not have any affect on one another. You might even be able to use either one from either hard drive if their both in the system.
