quakk Posted May 4, 2004 Report Share Posted May 4, 2004 (edited) I've got a problem with totem media player on mandrake 9.2. I can't get it to play any sound at all. I had problems with XMMS also, but solved that by switching to alsa output, since I'm using alsa drivers for my soundcard. I also tried to install mplayer, but i get the same problem there, even when running with the "-ao alsa9" argument. Anyone got any tip for me? arctic Posted June 15, 2004 Report Share Posted June 15, 2004 Did you change your overall sound output from Autodetect or OSS to ALSA in the K-kontrol center?
