marsh58 Posted April 19, 2004 Report Share Posted April 19, 2004 My name is Marshall Haire. I have a Z25 Lexmark printer. I used the driver for it that I got from Lexmark when I used version 9.2 and it worked fine. Now that I have updated to Mandrake 10.0, that driver does not appear to work. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. Does it have to do with the new kernel 2.6.3 or not? It is connected through USB to my computer. Thanks again. If installation is the problem, then I'd say do a urpmi for cups, and install it first. If cups can't be started, then I'm not sure what the issue would be. kmc77 Posted April 23, 2004 Report Share Posted April 23, 2004 After upgrade, I've got the same problem but with the Z705 model. My system recognizes the driver and I get no errors when I use the drake.
