Guest danafoo
I'm running Mandrake 10.1 on a Compaq Presario 920US. Everything except the w200 seems to run as well. It is detected as usb 2-3. Hitting Fn-F2, turns it on and off, however, I get no light. The hardware tool, "Harddrake" I think, assigns the Prism54 driver to it, but from what I gather, people say it will work with the orinoco_usb driver. Here are some resources I have come across. http://orinoco-usb.alioth.debian.org/ http://www.bisente.com/documentos/presario905/index.en.html http://folk.uio.no/oeysteio/Compaq/ I haven't tried to get it to run under Mandrake 10.1. I tried unsuccessfully to get it to run under Mandrake 10.0 and Debian 3.0. According to sites I've found on the internet, it can be done. (See above) So I guess I'm not as Linux savvy as I thought. At this point I'm thinking of going the PCMCIA route as I've given up on the w200, at least for now. Baby steps, I guess. I'll figure something out. Good Luck. Sorry can't be of much help.
